Where it sits
Enkhuizen is in North Holland, in the region called West Friesland, on the old Zuiderzee.
The Zuiderzee Museum
The museum has two halves, an indoor museum and an open-air village.
The outdoor half is a village assembled from buildings along the former Zuiderzee. The Zuiderzee Museum’s own site says it holds more than 140 authentic buildings from around the former Zuiderzee.
